Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Code TAA40104
Overview
Nationally recognised qualification that satisfies training criteria to deliver training services and conduct competency based assessments in accordance with national training frameworks and industry requirements. The Certificate IV in Assessment and Training replaces the Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (BSZ40198) and is ideally suited to those seeking employment as a trainer and assessor or who are currently employed as a workplace trainer and assessor.
Job Prospects
Persons interested in developing the skills of others within the workplace are required to be trained assessors and workplace trainers. Many employers recognise the need for on going staff development strategy and engage the services of qualified staff as opposed to off-site formalised training.

Qualified trainers and /or assessors are essential in today’s competent workforce.

This qualification incorporates (5) fields of study and candidates must successfully complete a minimum of (12) core units and (2) electives. The program is delivered using a flexible approach combining direct delivery sessions over 10 weeks along with a range of distance learning resources. Daily and evening programs are offered. The Institute can tailor programs for organisational groups of 8 or more persons and bridging training is available for those candidates who possess the BSZ40198 qualification.
