This course aims to provide the knowledge
and skills required for a person working within any environment.
This course aims to provide participants with the specific
competencies and knowledge required to adequately perform
duties in the field of occupational health and safety. It
is also suited to safety representatives whom have been active
for a number of years and safety professionals with no formal
qualifications.

already employed however is also suitable for persons seeking
to further expand their competence in occupational health
and safety or to gain positions where there is a requirement
for competence in the area.

Duration
This course is presented over 7 evening
contact sessions in addition to the completion of the Cert
III program.

in the area including occupational health and safety specialists,
lawyers, and accredited trainers.
Prerequisites
Students must possess reasonable literacy
and numeracy skills with a sound grasp of spoken English and
have successfully completed the Certificate III in Occupational
Health and Safety or equivalent.
