OCCUPATIONAL VIOLENCE and AGGRESSION
Course In Coordinating Occupational Violence and Aggression 21750VIC
Overview
The aim of this course is to develop the ability of staff to recognise the common causes of occupational violence and aggression and implement localised and team strategies when faced with situations involving the display of workplace violence and aggression.

This program is generally aimed at persons in occupational settings with a greater potential for conflict such as healthcare workers, statutory law enforcement, compliance officers, workplace inspectors, security officers and similar roles. Staff may also have some involvement in occupational violence and workplace aggression policy and procedural development.
Job Prospects
This course is not directly linked to career planning and is considered a human resources and employee development program.
Delivery
The course is presented in line with adult learning principles incorporating structured tutorials, interactive workshops, case studies and in class practical exercises.

Presenters
Course presenters are all recognised industry experts holding relevant experience and training qualifications. They include law enforcement officers, lawyers, occupational health and safety practitioners, psychologists and organisational development consultants. Subject to client needs, trainers for specific workplace settings can be requested to facilitate programs.
