INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES

Overview
The aim of the course is to develop a student’s proficiency in investigation methodologies including surveillance and factual investigation techniques, preparing documentation and giving evidence in court. Leadership, supervision and organisational skills are also developed.
Job Prospects
Private Investigations is a rapidly expanding profession providing exciting and challenging opportunities in areas of factual investigation and surveillance. As this is a growth industry job prospects reflect this with many opportunities being presented in the insurance and work cover areas.
Delivery
This course is presented in line with adult learning principles incorporating structured tutorials, case studies, some distance learning and practical assignments. It is expected that students will complete some projects in their own time.

Duration
Duration of this course will be 8 days intensive workshops including tasks to be completed in participants own time.
Presenters
Course presenters are all recognised industry experts holding relevant experience and training qualifications. They include, former and current serving police investigators, lawyers, corporate investigation specialists, licensed Inquiry Agents, surveillance and undercover operatives and organisational development consultants.
Prerequisites
Students must possess reasonable literacy and numeracy skills with a sound grasp of spoken English.
