Overview
Nationally accredited units aimed at managers
of large sites. Content includes participating in the management
and monitoring of workplace emergency prevention and control
structures for a complex workplace and operating as part of
the management of an emergency control organisation.

Delivery
The course is presented in line with adult
learning principles and involves a blended approach to training
incorporating interactive
on-line CD format and direct delivery strategies.
Content
Includes all content addressed in level
1, level 2 and level 3 and:
• Fire/emergency response prevention principles
• Typical approaches to fire/emergency prevention
• Integration of fire/emergency prevention into workplace
planning, operation, logistics and maintenance
Duration
Blended Delivery - 1 hour interactive online
CD, 6 hours direct delivery focussing on client's specific
site and 1 hour practical fire extinguisher training. ( 2
hours of the direct delivery includes management of a BECO
system, human behaviours in an emergency and hazard/risk assessments).

Full Direct Delivery - 7 hours of instruction involving theory
and assessments and 1 hour practical fire extinguisher training.
Presenters
Course presenters are all recognised industry
experts holding relevant experience and training qualifications.
They include fire and emergency specialists, OH&S practitioners
and risk management consultants.
Prerequisites
Students must possess reasonable literacy
and numeracy skills with a sound grasp of spoken English.
