An undergraduate degree* in any discipline OR at least 5
years documented** relevant work/professional experience***.
* the undergraduate degree must be an accredited course
from an accredited and recognised Australian tertiary institution.
If your degree is from a country other than Australia, it
must be a NOOSR recognised tertiary institution, and you
must include an official qualification assessment with your
application. An assessment of overseas tertiary qualifications
may be obtained by applying to the Overseas Qualifications
Unit in the Department for Victorian Communities - contact
OQU on (03) 9208 3317 or look at the OQU page of the Department’s
website at www.employment.vic.gov.au.
**Documented work/professional experience means proof of
this relevant work experience, such as a written statement
on official letterhead from an employer including the types
of duties performed and the level at which the applicant
operates/ed.
***Relevant experience means:
In the case of the graduate programs in law enforcement
- in a field such as policing, compliance, regulatory agencies,
corrections or courts.
In the case of the graduate programs in security operations
- in a field such as security management, risk management
or event management.
Referees reports to help assess an applicant's eligibility
may be required.
